The blade is treaded for comfort during use and has been hardened and epoxy coated for strength, durability and improved resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkalis found within soil. The ash shaft is weatherproofed for protection against the elements and is finished with a soft feel grip for comfort and additional grip.
