Ceiling fans must be installed correctly, taking the room size and room height into account, in order to ensure efficient operation. For optimal air circulation and cooling, fan blades should be about 2.5 to 3 m above the floor. Therefore, for ceilings over 3 m tall, the provided intermediate rod should be replaced by an down rod.
