This solar filter is made to thread into a 58mm camera lens. The substrate is made of a highly reflective, Helios Solar Glass® and mounted into an aluminum camera ring. It has a rating of Neutral Density 5, which blocks 99.999% of all light, including harmful IR and UV rays. It is safe for photography if the viewfinder looks directly throught the lens like an SLR or DSLR. The image of the sun will be yellow-orange and dependent on the size and strength of your camera, you will be able to see sunspots, solar granulation (suns photosphere), eclipses, and planet transits. Your camera lens will usually be marked with the correct filter size. We offer a limited lifetime warranty for manufacture defects. WARNING: DO NOT USE AS A DROP-IN FILTER. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE FILTER IS WELL ATTACHED TO THE SKY END OF YOUR CAMERA. OUR FILTER SHOULD BE FIRST IN LINE ALWAYS! NEVER OBSERVE THE SUN WITHOUT A PROPERLY ATTACHED FILTER! NEVER VIEW THE SUN WITHOUT PROPER EYE PROTECTION.
